Woodinville Community Art Project

Woodinville is a Bee City! You are invited to participate in our community art project
Painted fence panels will be hung along a chain-link fence at 175th Street in Woodinville (the former site of Molbak’s).
You can participate by painting a fence panel with images of pollinators and/or pollinator habitat. Your panel will be added to hundreds of others to create a beautiful collaborative art project on Main Street.
Between March 4 and April 1 pick up your ready-to-paint panels at Crown Bees (17721 132nd Ave NE in Woodinville). Return your painted panels to Crown Bees by April 10.
On Saturday, April 25, join the fun and celebrate Earth Day as we hang the panels and dedicate the art project with a ceremony in the old Molbak’s parking lot from 1-4 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to paint a panel – you, your club, your kids, your students. Just a few rules:
  • Use a Water-Based Acrylic or Latex paint or permanent pens – No tempera or watercolor paints. You can purchase these in aisle 27 in McClendon’s Hardware.
  • No words please, just images.
  • If you like, add your name to the back of the panel.
  • Have fun!
