Keynote Speaker - Gregory Green

Greg Green is a wildlife ecologist and photographer, who teaches ecology and natural history at Western Washington University. He collaborated with renowned photographer, Art Wolfe, on the book Wild Lives, a celebration of the beauty, ferocity, and revival of Earth’s endangered wildlife. Art and Greg are currently collaborating on a new book, The Wildlife of the World. Greg has done a study on the Anna’s hummingbird and recently gave a packed house presentation on hummingbirds at the Northwest Stream Center.  Read his bio.
Greg will discuss Hummingbird Ecology: From Ecuador to the Pacific Northwest. Through the lens of photography, Greg will illuminate pollinator and hummingbird ecology and explain why we have a hummingbird that overwinters in the PNW. Morning and afternoon session.

Youth Art Contest

Be part of the 2nd annual Youth Pollinator Art Contest. Create your original artwork inspired by this year’s theme, Harmony in Bloom: Local Pollinators and Plants. Winning entries will be displayed at Pollinator Fest. Here is all the information on art classes and how to enter.
